Booked a loveholiday’s package holiday for 28th July 2020 with a friend. Heard The government guidelines were changing and we decided we didn’t want to go and hadn’t hear anything from LH to say that it was going to be cancelled, so thought the best thing would be was to change dates and go the following year ( this year). But two days before our date to go 26th July 2020 my friend got a text from LH asking if she was going to go if not reply before 4pm that day with No, so she did and has been fully refunded, but I did not get this text from LH until after 7pm that day, so it was too late.I’ve emailed, been on live chat and been told that my booking is going ahead for this year. But I don’t want to go, I want a refund

DO NOT TRUST LOVE HOLIDAYS WITH YOUR MONEY!!Please please do not book with this company. They will look for any excuse not to refund you. Im still waiting for a refund from our booking 1773705 last Summer. They have now gone against CMA guidance by not refunding by the end of March. Our last email from them was December ,saying they were waiting for a flight refund. Well I didn't pay the airline, I paid Love holidays. The definition of a package holiday is clear. Im now filling in small claims court forms and will get a CCJ against them.A shame, as I've had many previous good holidays with them, including last year.Have a check of the complaints page (unofficial) on FB, and see the horror stories of how many customers have been left high and dry.Do YOU want to risk your money with a company like this in the current climate??

beware of this company . scammers / fraudsters

scammers . fraudsters . avoid at all costs . did change of passangers. they cancelled original flight and booked new without prior approval . increased the cost from £2,300 for original holiday to £5,050 and charging for 2x holidays now 2x hotels , 2x transfers and still 2 people going . now want £2,400 to cancel the holiday and £631 already been paid . customer services is appalling . they hang up on you and close any online queries . 3 weeks now and still to resolved . avoid this company or loose your money

Bailiffs appointed

After several requests for a refund and nil response, i issued a cc claim online, its a very simple process, unfortunately that was also ignored. I then escalated my claim to the high court, again a very simple process and instructed bailiffs to attend the hq of Love Holidays. RESULT! ALL MONIES PLUS COSTS REFUNDED WITHIN 24 HOURS. Thats the way to do it folks. Spend £60.00 and put them through the court process. N. b All costs are also refunded.

Hen party to Ibiza

I booked my hen party on Saturday with love holidays. There is 13 of us going to Ibiza. Georgina was brilliant at sorting everything for me and making sure I got the best deal, we are staying in an amazing hotel and have great flight times all for a fab price.I missed a few mistakes with spellings of names I had given and Georgina was fab at sorting these out for me even with the airlines

Offers always good value for money and lots of places where I would normally go. I either book flights and Accomodation separately myself or use Love Holidays as in some cases they can be cheaper but never use high street travel agents. These guys far cheaper, only downside is if you look at a holiday & don’t book it when you go to book it they add another £10-50 on price based on them knowing you are interested by your cookie settings on your device. I usually use different device and IP address when I go to book to avoid this happening which usually works. All in all service is good value and I would recommend to family & friends.

Scam company

My experience of my booking LOV1851275U:
Booked flights, hotel, hotel transfer, car hire with them way back start of 2020 and when the flight got cancelled they disabled their phone lines and manage my booking failed to work. It appeared deliberate by them to avoid contact. I only got through to them weeks later by lying and saying I wanted to book a holiday. The agent despite have my booking code had all the wrong info and thought I had paid much more than I had, he incorrectly refunded me with wrong paperwork which ultimately came £75.50 short. Again love holidays turned off their phone lines etc and only had there Internet chat which didn't work. I only managed to contact them last month March 2021 and after getting push back over how much I had paid they finally conceded under threat of further action that they were due me a refund. I've still not got it but will hopefully gain it soon. AVOID THIS COMPANY they tried to scam me out of my money if I hadnt chased them they would have kept all my money. It's my opinion that all the 5 start reviews on multiple sites are fake as well. I don't know a single person who will ever trust them (they used to before COVID be good) please take my advise and do not use them do not trust them. If you have booked screenshot every conversation and save every email, as recently they have been sneakily altering contracts/T+Cs, but your rights are for what contract you booked under.

Failure to refund

Do not book with this company If a problem develops it will become your problem, no assistant will be given, the only concern this company has is what they can charge you for the failure of your holiday

Flights were cancelled

Not your fault but this was a terrible experience. I had booked a weekend in Venice for next February. Within days, Ryanair contacted me to say that flights were cancelled. I’m left wondering what I can do now. I’ve never had this happen in the past.

booked a trip for me and my friend to new york to find out we had to pay an extra £200 for 2 checkin cases that were not advised to us. i called british airways to confirm the flight booking and ask how much kgs can be checked in and was told we had 0 bags booked. When making the booking we were told 23kgs were included? i called to try and cancel the booking to be told i would loose £1000+ and was also told i had no reason to complain after spending 2 hours on the phone when the assistant agreed with me that it’s wrong and there is no option to add checkin bags on the booking either her manager refused to give me the email address to complain in writing DISCUSTING IS NOT THE WORD. MY COMPLAINT HAS GONE TO MY CC COMPANY AND THEY SAID THAT THEY AGREE.
